Bring your bathing suit there is a pool and hot tub at the motel!.

Day 1:
Bring your cooler filled with whatever you would like for lunch on the trail (no alcohol please). We will be two tracking approximately 125 miles the first day thru the Pere Marquette Forest and into the Manistee National Forest. Stopping along the way for restrooms and snacks. Goal for the day:Days Inn in Cadillac Michigan at 6pm. with dinner furnished at the Timbers Restaurant at 7pm.

Most of the route follows a variety of two-tracks (logging roads)
that encounter some challenges including mud, hills, and off camber driving,
Back on the trail where a sharp eye can possibly catch sightings
of white tail deer, wild cats, cougars and more ( nothing guaranteed).

Day 2:
Continental Breakfast at the Days Inn at 7:30am, then to a great elk ranch, after a 30 minute stop its on to some of the most beautiful trails of the trip.A stop in Mesick for snacks or lunch is next on the agenda. Then a challenging obstacle course before we enter the Manistee River basin. Two tracking along the river brings us to the Tippy Dam, where we will be watching fisherman catching salmon or trout. Its off to the trails in the Udell Hills area on our way to Sandy Korners, arriving back at home base about 5pm
Always looking to make our trips even better, we have found a new jeep challenge for you to attempt, courtesy of Ellen's Corners . Following your guide's instructions, maybe just maybe, you will make it across the tires.
