Fall Color Tour
A 2 day 243 mile adventure through the Manistee Forest.

9:00am Saturday
Departing Sandy Korners
After 2 tracking over 125 miles through some of the most scenic and challenging trails
in the lower peninsula. Dinner at Timbers Restaurant at 6:30 pm in Cadillac,
After dinner we check in at the Day's Inn, Cadillac for the evening (pool available).
8:30 am Sunday Morning
Breakfast at the DogHouse
On the trail at 9:30 two tracking towards Mesick, Michigan
for an obstacle course approximately noon
On to the Manistee River Basin with a stop at the
Little Mac Bridge and Tippy Dam, are some of the highlights of the day.
Arrival back at Silver Lake about 5:30 pm

Aproximate Cost Per Jeep:
Lodging $75 plus tax
Timbers Restaurant: $15 to $20 per meal
Doghouse Breakfast: $7 per meal
Guide Service: $75 per day per jeep
Total cost per jeep for the weekend $275-$300

Upper Peninsula Color Tour
A great color tour thru the Tahquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point Area

Friday
7:00AM Depart Sandy Korners
Breakfast at Big Boy in Ludington at 8:30 am
on the road at 9:00 am heading for Hulbert Lake Lodge
Arrive approximately 5:30 pm for homemade chili
Saturday
8:30 breakfast at the lodge
9:30 am we head for Whitefish Point Lighthouse
From there a two track adventure to Vermillion Point
and on to the largest beaver dam in Michigan.
Back on the trail leading back to Paradise and dinner
Arriving back to the lodge about 7:00 pm
Sunday
On the road at 8:30 heading for breakfast
9:30 onto the trails leading to the Tahquamenon Falls
From the falls we two track to the Iroquois lighthouse
with a sand dune and a breath taking overlook on the way.
A great whitefish dinner at Brimmley
arriving back at the lodge at 7:00pm
Monday
Breakfast at the lodge at 8:30 and on the road at 10:00am
arriving back at Sandy Korners approximately. 5:30 pm
